2. Account Management
2.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. You must not share
your account credentials with any other person. PointsBet will not be liable for any loss or damage arising
from unauthorised use of your account resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
2.2 Account Verification
We may request identity and financial verification documents at any time. Failure to provide these
documents within the stated timeframe may result in account restriction or suspension. We are required to
carry out these checks under our NTRC licence conditions and AML/CTF legal obligations.
2.3 Dormant Accounts

subject to verification

- We reserve the right to request source-of-funds documentation for large transactions
- Bonus funds are non-withdrawable until wagering requirements are met; see individual promotion terms
4. Betting Rules
4.1 Bet Placement
A bet is considered confirmed and binding only once you have received a bet reference number. Bets
submitted in error cannot be cancelled. You are solely responsible for verifying the details on the bet slip
before confirming.
4.2 Bet Settlement
PointsBet reserves the right to correct obvious errors in odds at any time before or after a bet is placed.
Where an event is abandoned, suspended or voided and betting is not otherwise resolved under the specific
sport betting rules, monies will be refunded at the pre-event price.
4.3 Limits
Maximum payout limits apply per event and per day. Maximum single event payout for sports: $500,000 AUD.
For PointsBetting, each bet has a Quantum (maximum loss) assigned at the time of placement, which caps the
maximum liability.
5. PointsBetting Rules
PointsBetting is a proprietary PointsBet product with unique risk characteristics. The following rules
specifically apply:
- Your profit or loss scales with how correct your selection is relative to the PointsBetting line
- A maximum loss cap (Quantum) is set at bet placement — you cannot lose more than your Quantum
- Potential winnings on PointsBetting markets are subject to platform maximum payout limits
- In the event of a game suspension or abandonment, PointsBetting bets will be settled at the score at the
time official results are recognised by the relevant governing body, unless otherwise stated
- PointsBetting is not available for multi/parlay combinations
By placing a PointsBetting wager you acknowledge that you understand the scalable nature of profit and loss
and that your actual result may differ significantly from a standard fixed-odds outcome.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension:
- Hedging bets across accounts or with connected third parties to guarantee a profit from promotional
offers
- Use of any automated software, robots, scrapers or algorithms to access odds or place bets
- Sharing account credentials or allowing a third party to operate your account
- Match fixing or any involvement in corrupt conduct related to a betting event
- Using the platform while subject to a self-exclusion
- Attempting to manipulate the outcome of any game, race or event on which bets are taken
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the PointsBet platform, including logos, designs, data, software and interface elements, is

redistribute or create derivative works from any PointsBet content without express written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, PointsBet's total liability to you for any claim arising
from or in connection with these Terms will not exceed the net deposit amount held in your account at the
time the claim arises. PointsBet will not be liable for indirect, special, consequential or punitive losses
including loss of profits, loss of data or loss of opportunity.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
PointsBet may suspend or close any account at any time and for any reason, including at our sole discretion
where we deem such action to be in the interests of regulatory compliance, responsible gambling or the
integrity of our platform. Legitimate balances at the time of closure will be returned to the account
holder's verified payment method.
11. Disputes
In the event of a dispute regarding a bet result or account action, you must contact our support team
within 30 days. PointsBet will endeavour to resolve all disputes within 14 days. Unresolved disputes may be
escalated to the Northern Territory Racing Commission for formal adjudication.
12. Governing Law
